✨ watch the Oscars with me on Sunday, March 2 at Littlefield ✨
In honor of my Watch Party at Littlefield for the upcoming Oscars Ceremony, here are my thoughts on the Nominated movies —you’re not going to believe which was my favorite.
The Substance: Love the whole vibe of the movie, which I watched with my dad (he’s cool), but more importantly acceptance speeches are one of life’s only moments to reaaaaallly say something (give advice, be aspirational, make a political statement, be laugh out loud hilar), and the only person DOOING it right now is Demi, mama.
Wicked: I cried just as much in the theater as Cynthia and Ari did on the press circuit.
Conclave: Popes are divas.
Babygirl: Not horny enough imo — you can see a skinny guy with bad tats dancing with a cig on the streets of Bushwick on any Tuesday — BUT it did make me want to go to a rave.
Nosferatu: Just horny enough, actually. Babygirl wishes it was this horny.
A Complete Unknown: As a society, we need to stop fighting over twinks.
Challengers: As a society, we need twinks to fight over us. Am I bi? No, I wish. Am I straight? Yes, but more specifically my sexuality is THE scene, you know the one. Put that on medical forms.
Anora: I got extensions in honor of Ani xo
The Apprentice: BEST MOVIE OF THE YEAR. OOPS!!!!! THIS IS CINEMA!
Dune 2 Dune & Duner: The dune worm looks exactly like my cat Masha’s asshole.
Emilia Perez: Jesus christ.
And I still need to see Sing Sing, I’m Still Here, and Nickel Boys…my sincere apologies to Colman Domingo.
"High-camp viewing!" - Time Out New York
For the fifth or even sixth year running, I’ll be hosting the absolute best watch party for the Oscars in all of New York + the world on Sunday, March 2 at 7pm at Littlefield (we’ve scaled up!).
Not only will there be comedian panelists and performances during commercial breaks (this year’s Oscars famously won’t have musical performances, but WE WILL!), but we’re also getting funky with it with a “Defying Gravity” Riff-Off and more surprises!!
